The Sphinx Performance Academy @ Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio, and Roosevelt University in Chicago are intensive two week chamber music and solo performance programs designed for young Black and Latino string players, ages 12-17.

About Sphinx
The Sphinx Organization is the national non-profit arts and youth development organization based in Detroit and New York City.
Our mission is to increase the participation of Blacks and Latinos in music schools, as professional musicians, as classical music audiences, to administer youth development initiatives in underserved communities through music education and to promote the creation, performance, and preservation of works by Black and Latino composers.
